According to a nationwide perception survey of day schools in the country, conducted by Education World, a Bangalore-based publication, and market research agency C-Fore, three Bangalore schools have figured in the list of Top 10 schools in India.

In the all-India rankings - day schools Mallya Aditi International School, Bangalore came second. The school is home to around 550 students of sixteen nationalities. It offers a global education system, academic excellence, positive social values, creative freedom and self discovery, that equips every student with necessary skill sets to take his place anywhere in the world. What makes that possible is their internationally trained faculty who employ teaching methods that urge the students to question the conventional, challenge theories, validate hypotheses and employ analytical reasoning.

And National Public School (Indiranagar) came fifth and Vidya Niketan, Bangalore came tenth on the list. National Public School, Indiranagar was established in 1982 under the chairmanship of Dr. K P Gopalkrishna. This Institution is synonymous with academic excellence and the development of personality. It imparts immeasurable values to the students who are in its rolls. The curriculum followed at all levels is flexible and enables the new trends in education to take root in the existing system. This helps in keeping pace with the rapidly changing educational scenario.

Over 2,000 parents, principals, teachers and educationists in 16 cities across India were asked to rate 400 well-known schools in India for the survey. The parameters included academic reputation, sports and infrastructure, amongst other things. “We are certainly the most sought-after schools. Every teacher in the school puts in a tremendous effort to do a great job in the classroom. That Mallya Aditi has ranked No 2 is a source of great pride for us, but it’s also a great responsibility.
